New for Autumn-Winter 2024 comes the Barney gilet from Regent. Cut from a beautiful charcoal grey wool tweed from master cloth-makers Abraham Moon, the Barney is an updated take on the classic gilet. The nehru-esque stand-up collar helps lend a more contemporary edge to the gilet while the two jetted pockets on the front ensures a smart finish. The Barney has a deep purple viscose lining and is finished with pale-grey horn buttons to complement the charcoal herringbone. 

There is a single vent at the rear for greater ease of movement, and the alcantara leather on the inside of the collar also provides additional comfort for a soft feel against the wearer's skin. Designed with versatility in mind the Barney will work well as a layer in smart or casual settings as the cooler temperatures arrive - especially layered over a sweatshirt and worn with dark denim or chinos. Equally, this a gilet for smarter days when worn as an extra layer of warmth over a shirt and tie.
